Η χρυσή Ολυμπιονίκης του Ρίο, Άννα Κορακάκη, ξεκίνησε δυναμικά το 2024, καθώς κατέκτησε την πρώτη θέση στον τελικό των 10μ αεροβόλου πιστολιού στο γκραν πρι σκοποβολής στο Ρουσέ της Σλοβενίας.
Μάλιστα η διοργάνωση είχε διπλή ελληνική παρουσία στον τελικό καθώς πέρα από την Άννα Κορακάκη, η οποί μπήκε στην τελική οκτάδα με την καλύτερη επίδοση καταγράφοντας 579 πόντους, την ακολούθησε και η Χριστίνα Μόσχη μπήκε ως τέταρτη με 571.
Στον τελικό η Κορακάκη ήταν για ακόμα μία φορά εντυπωσιακή, αφού συγκέντρωσε 243.1 βαθμούς για να κατακτήσει το χρυσό μετάλλιο.
Στην δεύτερη θέση ολοκλήρωσε η Ελμίρα Καραπετιάν (Αρμενία) με 239.6 βαθμούς και στην τρίτη η Βερόνικα Μάγιορ (Ουγγαρία) με 219.8. Η Μόσχη κατάφερε να πλασαριστεί στην έβδομη θέση χάρη στους 134.6 πόντους της.
Για τις δύο Ελληνίδες τα αποτελέσματα αυτά είναι πολύ σημαντικά για την προετοιμασία τους, ώστε το καλοκαίρι να βρίσκονται σε καλή κατάσταση και να κυνηγήσουν την επιθυμητή εμφάνιση στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Παρισιού.
