Άνδρες των ΟΥΚ του Λιμενικού τα τελευταία 24ωρα πραγματοποιούν επιχειρήσεις στα πλημμυρισμένα χωριά της Θεσσαλίας σε μία προσπάθεια αναζήτησης αγνοουμένων. Σύμφωνα με σχετική ενημέρωση οι δυνάμεις του Λιμενικού βρίσκονται σε τρία χωριά που έχουν πληγεί από την φονική κακοκαιρία «Daniel». Πρόκειται για τα χωριά Αγία Τριάδα, Μεταμόρφωση, Μαραθέα, που βρίσκονται στα βορειοδυτικά του Παλαμά.
Σημειώνεται πως πρόκειται για την ομάδα που την Κυριακή εντόπισε νεκρούς στη Μεταμόρφωση έναν 65χρονο άνδρα και την 85χρονη μητέρα του. Όπως φαίνεται και στις φωτογραφίες οι άνδρες του Λιμενικού έχουν βρεθεί με το νερό μέχρι και τον λαιμό προκειμένου να φέρουν εις πέρας την αποστολή τους.
Όπως φαίνεται, οι επιχειρήσεις πραγματοποιούνται κάτω από αντίξοες συνθήκες, καθώς μέσα στα σπίτια που επλήγησαν από τα πλημμυρικά φαινόμενα, το νερό σε αρκετές περιπτώσεις φτάνει μέχρι το ταβάνι, ενώ έπιπλα και αντικείμενα «κολυμπάνε» στα πλημμυρισμένα δωμάτια.
Οι άνδρες της Μονάδας Υποβρύχιων Αποστολών (ΜΥΑ) αναζητούν με φακούς ίχνη ζωής ενώ όπου δεν είναι εφικτός άλλος τρόπος πρόσβασης, επιχειρούν να εισέλθουν στα σπίτια από τα παράθυρα.

Στην ευρύτερη περιοχή το νερό σταδιακά υποχωρεί, κι έρχονται στην επιφάνεια τα απομεινάρια της καταστροφής.
Σπίτια και οικοσκευές είναι κατεστραμμένα από το νερό και τη λάσπη, καλλιέργειες παραμένουν βυθισμένες και οι κάτοικοι βρίσκονται σε απόγνωση. Η έντονη δυσοσμία από τα νεκρά ζώα κάνει την ατμόσφαιρα αποπνικτική.
