Την τελευταία της πνοή σε ηλικία 40 ετών άφησε η γνωστή vegan influencer, Zhanna Samsonova.

Ωστόσο, σύμφωνα με διεθνή ΜΜΕ, η ίδια το τελευταίο διάστημα τρεφόταν μόνο με χυμούς, ωμά φρούτα και λαχανικά. Μάλιστα, υπήρχαν περίοδοι που ασκούσε «ξηρή νηστεία» χωρίς να τρώει ή να πίνει τίποτα για μέρες.
