Το ερασιτεχνικό ψάρεμα είναι μια καλή μέθοδος θεραπείας και ανακούφισης από το στρες, αλλά και μια ευχάριστη ασχολία, ειδικά για το καλοκαίρι. Ενώ το ψάρεμα μπορεί να φαίνεται απλό στους περισσότερους ανθρώπους, χρειάζεται αρκετή εξάσκηση και σχέδιο για να αποφέρει αποτελέσματα. Δηλαδή, πρέπει να γνωρίζετε σε τι ψάρι στοχεύετε, πρώτα και κυριότερα, ούτως ώστε να προμηθευτείτε τον κατάλληλο εξοπλισμό ή να μάθετε καλά την περιοχή στην οποία ψαρεύετε (καιρός, ποικιλίες).
Συνήθως, βοηθάει αρκετά το να λάβετε μερικές συμβουλές από έμπειρους ψαράδες, τόσο για να αυξήσετε τις γνώσεις σας για το ψάρεμα, όσο και για να ανταλλάξετε ιδέες και απόψεις, αλλά σε περίπτωση που δεν έχετε τη δυνατότητα ακολουθούν μερικές συμβουλές ως προς τους τύπους ψαρέματος, ιδανικοί για αρχάριους.

Είναι δύσκολο να πετάξεις πετονιά από την ακτή, οπότε για έναν αρχάριο, ένα αγκίστρι και ένα βαρίδι δεν αρκούν, αλλά θα διευκόλυνε το ψάρεμα με καλάμι. Οι ιδανικές ώρες για παράκτιο ψάρεμα είναι νωρίς το πρωί και με την ανατολή ή τη δύση του ηλίου. Επιπλέον, η χρήση ενός βυθίσματος 75 γραμμαρίων θα σας βοηθήσει να πετάξετε την πετονιά σας ευκολότερα και πιο μακριά, γιατί στο παράκτιο ψάρεμα πρέπει κανείς να ρίχνει την πετονιά όσο πιο μακριά μπορεί. Αν ψαρεύετε σε ρηχά και καθαρά νερά και δείτε ότι υπάρχουν ψάρια κοντά στην ακτή, μπορείτε να προσελκύσετε ψάρια με το τάισμα. Αποφύγετε τις ξαφνικές κινήσεις για να μην τρομάξετε τα ψάρια εκεί κοντά.
Ας έρθουμε τώρα στα είδη ψαριών και τις τροφές ψαριών που μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε ανάλογα με το είδος. Στο παράκτιο ψάρεμα, αν το μέρος που θα ρίξει κανείς το καλάμι του είναι αμμώδες, μπορεί να πιάσει ψάρια, όπως ριγέ τσιπούρα, δακτυλιοειδής τσιπούρα και λαβράκι, ενώ αν η τοποθεσία είναι βραχώδης-πετρώδης, υπάρχουν ψάρια, όπως η λευκή τσιπούρα. Οι τσιπούρες, τα συχνότερα είδη που θα συναντήσετε εδώ, γενικά προτιμούν το ζωντανό φαγητό, οπότε μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε ζωντανά σκουλήκια ως δόλωμα.
Ψάρεμα από βάρκα
Αν θέλετε να έχετε μια καλή εμπειρία ψαρέματος με σκάφος, θα πρέπει να πλεύσετε πριν την ανατολή του ηλίου. Προτιμήστε να έχετε ολοκληρώσει όλες τις προετοιμασίες από το βράδυ. Μην ξεχνάτε να παίρνετε μαζί σας και ζεστά ρούχα, γιατί τις πολύ πρωινές ώρες έχει αρκετή δροσιά.
Επειδή με τη βάρκα μπορείτε να ψαρέψετε σε μέτριου βάθους νερά, μπορεί συνήθως να συναντήσετε παλαμίδα. Οι παλαμίδες είναι ψάρια που κολυμπούν σε μέτριο βάθος, γι’ αυτό το μήκος της πετονιάς σας πρέπει να είναι τουλάχιστον 15 μέτρα. Εκτός από αυτό, το βύθισμά σας πρέπει να είναι 75 γραμμάρια και μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε 12 εκατοστά ψεύτικο δόλωμα. Ακόμη, η βάρκα σας θα πρέπει να βρίσκεται σε κίνηση και η κατά προσέγγιση ταχύτητα να είναι 6-7 χιλιόμετρα την ώρα. Είναι αρκετά δύσκολο να ψαρέψει κανείς μια παλαμίδα, αλλά αν τα καταφέρει, αποκτά ένα ιδιαίτερο αίσθημα ικανοποίησης.
Ψαρεύοντας από τη βάρκα σας, δεν είναι απίθανο να συναντήσετε και γοφάρι(Bluefish), ένα από τα πιο σκληρά ψάρια στη θάλασσα και είναι δύσκολο να κυνηγηθεί. Το γοφάρι είναι ένα ψάρι που μπορεί να φάει ακόμα και λαβράκι μέχρι 1 κιλό, μπαρμπούνι, ακόμη και ψάρια του είδους του. Έχει πολύ κοφτερά δόντια και είναι επιθετικό είδος ψαριού. Το εργαλείο ψαρέματος που θα χρησιμοποιήσετε, στην πραγματικότητα, είναι ένα πολύ απλό εργαλείο, αν και το ψάρι είναι αρκετά επιθετικό. Δεν χρειάζονται τόσα πολλά ψεύτικα δολώματα ή καλάμια ψαρέματος άνθρακα. Μπορείτε ακόμη να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα κανονικό καλάμι ψαρέματος ή τροχαλία. Απλά πρέπει να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα χαλύβδινο σύρμα. Ο καλύτερος χρόνος για το κυνήγι του γοφαριού μπορεί να είναι οι νύχτες με το φως του φεγγαριού, με το φωτισμό τεχνητού φωτός ή με την ανατολή του ηλίου το πρωί.
Ψάρεμα γλυκού νερού
Το ψάρεμα του γλυκού νερού γίνεται με διαφορετικές τεχνικές. Τα δύο στοιχεία που πρέπει να προσέξουμε είναι το δόλωμα και η πετονιά που επιλέγουμε ανάλογα με το είδος του ψαριού που θέλουμε να κυνηγήσουμε. Στο γλυκό νερό συναντά κανείς, κυρίως πέστροφες, κυπρίνους και γατόψαρο. Ας τα γνωρίσουμε λίγο καλύτερα.
Αρχικά, η πέστροφα είναι ένα πολύ δραστήριο ψάρι που έχει πτερύγια χωρίς αγκάθια και πολύ μικρά λέπια. Οι πέστροφες ζουν σε κρύα, καθαρά και πλούσια σε οξυγόνο νερά με θερμοκρασίες μεταξύ 10-15 βαθμών. Το Mepps no 1 είναι το πιο συχνά χρησιμοποιούμενο και λειτουργικό δόλωμα στο ψάρεμα πέστροφας και συνήθως η τεχνική ρίξε και τράβηξε είναι η πιο διαδεδομένη.
