H τεχνική του light rock fishing είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένη με τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες του χρόνου και όχι άδικα εφόσον πολλά από τα ψάρια που στοχεύουμε μέσω αυτής της τεχνικής κάνουν τη παρουσία τους και δραστηριοποιούνται έντονα τη συγκεκριμένη εποχή του χρόνου όπως τα κοκκάλια, τα μελανούρια και οι τσιπούρες ενώ τα άλλοτε νωχελικά ψάρια των προηγουμένων μηνών όπως οι σαργοί και οι μουρμούρες τώρα έχουν ζωηρέψει αισθητά.
Τα παραπάνω είδη ψαριών αποτελούσαν τυχαίες έμμεσες συλλήψεις τα προηγούμενα χρόνια γεγονός το οποίο έχει αλλάξει πολύ αφού στις μέρες η εξέλιξη των τεχνικών με τεχνητά δολώματα τα καθιστά άμεσους στόχους μας μέσω του light rock fishing. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι η έννοια του ψαρέματος αυτού είναι παρεξηγημένη κατά κάποιο τρόπο κυρίως λόγω της σύγχυσης που προκαλούν στους ψαράδες τα λεπτά εργαλεία που χρησιμοποιούνται σε αυτή. Για να γίνω πιο συγκεκριμένος με τον όρο light rock fishing εννοώ το ψάρεμα αυτό στο οποίο χρησιμοποιούνται καλάμια με άνω όριο εύρους χρήσης γραμμαρίων τα 7 με 10 γραμμάρια, μηχανισμούς μεγέθους έως 2000, νήματα με ανώτερη διατομή το PE 0.6, παράμαλλα που κυμαίνονται από τα 0.14 έως τα 0.20 χιλιοστά, αν και το συγκεκριμένο μέρος του εξοπλισμού έχει να κάνει με πολλές παραμέτρους και μικροσκοπικές παραμάνες.
Αυτό το αναφέρω για να σχηματίσετε μια εικόνα του εξοπλισμού που χρησιμοποιήθηκε για αυτά που θα διαβάσετε στο παρακάτω άρθρο. Η σημασία του ελαφριού εξοπλισμού είναι πολύ μεγάλη αφού όλα τα παραπάνω όταν συνδυαστούν με το κατάλληλο τρόπο δημιουργούν ένα πολύ αρμονικό σύνολο το οποίο όχι μόνο «ξεζουμίζει» κάθε τεχνητό αλλά θα κουράσει και θα οδηγήσει ακόμα και ένα πολύ μεγάλο ψάρι στην απόχη μας χωρίς να προκληθεί η οποιοδήποτε αστοχία σε κάποιο σημείο του συνόλου που να μας στοιχήσει. Όσο αφορά τα τεχνητά θα αναφερθούμε στους γνωστούς τύπους τεχνητών που χρησιμοποιούμε στις πιο βαριές εκδοχές των τεχνικών με τεχνητά δολώματα και πιο συγκεκριμένα εννοώ μικρογραφίες τεχνητών όπως τα popper, τα minnow, τα walk the dog, τα vibration, τα πλανάκια και φυσικά τις σιλικόνες.
Συνήθως το μέγεθος των σκληρών τεχνητών κυμαίνεται από τα 35 έως τα 60 χιλιοστά με το βάρος τους να ανέρχεται από τα 3 έως τα 10 γραμμάρια ενώ στα πλανάκια και στις σιλικόνες αυτό έχει να κάνει με το τύπο του πλάνου το βάρος μολυβοκεφαλής, το τύπο και το μέγεθος της σιλικόνης. Με τα παραπάνω τεχνητά είμαστε ικανοί να ανταποκριθούμε σε κάθε είδος ψαριού, σε πολλά διαφορετικά μέρη καθώς και στις περισσότερες των συνθηκών που καλούμαστε να αντιμετωπίσουμε στη θάλασσα αυτή την εποχή.
Ώρες και στρατηγικές
Οι ώρες ψαρέματος ποικίλουν από τόπο σε τόπο αλλά εγώ προσωπικά αυτή την εποχή αρέσκομαι στην εφαρμογή της συγκεκριμένης τεχνικής από το ξημέρωμα ως τις 10-11 το πρωί και από τις 6-7 το απόγευμα ως το νύχτωμα αν και η αλήθεια είναι ότι εντός των λιμανιών η νύχτα μπορεί να μας επιφυλάσσει πολλές εκπλήξεις. Όπως γίνεται κατανοητό αποφεύγω τις ζεστές ώρες της ημέρας για ευνόητους λόγους αν και η αλήθεια είναι ότι από άποψη ψαρέματος έχουν αρκετά μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον. Η στρατηγική ψαρέματος έχει να κάνει σε μεγάλο βαθμό με το μέρος που ψαρεύουμε, φυσικά δε γίνεται να αναλύσουμε σε ένα άρθρο κάθε πιθανό μέρος αλλά μπορούμε να χωρίσουμε το ψάρεμα μας σε δύο κατηγορίες. Η πρώτη κατηγορία είναι αυτή που απευθύνεται στα ψάρια των ανώτερων στρωμάτων του νερού όπως τα μελανούρια, τα κοκκάλια και τα λαβράκια όπου μπορούμε να τα πάρουμε στο κατόπι με minnow, walk the dog, popper αν τα ψάρια είναι κοντά μας ενώ αν θέλουμε καλύτερη βολή ένα πλανάκι θα δώσει τη λύση.
Η δεύτερη κατηγορία είναι αυτή που απευθύνεται στα ψάρια των κατώτερων στρωμάτων του νερού όπως οι σαργοί, οι τσιπούρες, οι μουρμούρες και πολλά άλλα είδη όπου μπορούμε να τα πάρουμε στο κατόπι με σιλικόνες, πλανάκια, vibration και βυθιζόμενα minnow. Φυσικά το παραπάνω είναι ένα γενικό συμπέρασμα για να κατανοήσουμε τη χρησιμότητα κάθε τύπου τεχνητού αφού στη πραγματικότητα μπορούμε να βρούμε το καθένα από τα παραπάνω ψάρια σε κάθε επίπεδο του νερού αναφορικά με το κάθε τόπο που θα ψαρέψουμε. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι οι περισσότεροι τύποι τεχνητών όπως τα minnow, τα popper, τα vibrations και τα walk the dog χαρακτηρίζονται από τις ίδιες αρχές χρήσης όπως έχουμε συνηθίσει στο κλασσικό spinning με τη κυριότερη παραλλαγή κατά τη χρήση τους να είναι ή ταχύτητα ανάκτησης και η «ένταση» του ψαρέματος τους. Όσο αφορά τα χρώματα εγώ παίζω μπάλα με πολύ αληθοφανή χρώματα ενώ έχω μια ιδιαίτερη αδυναμία στα ghost χρώματα τα οποία σε αυτά τα μεγέθη τεχνητών δείχνουν θεαματικά αποτελέσματα.
Όσο αφορά τις σιλικόνες τα πράγματα διαφοροποιούνται αισθητά αφού εκτός από τους κλασσικούς τύπους που είναι γνωστοί από το spinning όπως τα jerk bait, paddle tail και curly tail στο light rock fishing θα συναντήσουμε και αυτές τύπου creature οι οποίες ουσιαστικά είναι απομιμήσεις διαφόρων πλασμάτων που είναι συνηθισμένοι κάτοικοι των βυθών μας όπως οι γαρίδες και τα καβούρια. Η κυριότερη διαφορά αυτών με τους άλλους τύπους σιλικόνης είναι ότι χαρακτηρίζονται από σχετικά μεγάλο όγκο και ειδικό βάρος κάνοντας τα λίγο πιο δύστροπα στη χρήση. Θεωρώ ότι ο συνδυασμός τους με ψάρεμα κοντά στο βυθό είναι πολύ καλή συνταγή ενώ ως προς τον τρόπο χρήσης θεωρώ ότι η αργή ανάκτηση συνοδευομένη από χτυπήματα τύπου jerking είναι ότι πρέπει. Μεγάλη προσοχή απαιτείται στην επιλογή της μολυβοκεφαλής η οποία καλό θα ήταν να γυροφέρνει τα 1 με 3 γραμμάρια ούτως ώστε σε συνδυασμό με το ειδικό βάρος της σιλικόνης να καταλήγουμε σε ένα σύνολο που να γυροφέρνει τα 4 με 6 γραμμάρια ενώ το αγκίστρι της μολυβοκεφαλής πρέπει να είναι ανάλογο του συνόλου ώστε να είναι ικανό να αρπάξει το ενδεχόμενο ψάρι χωρίς αστοχίες.
Τέλος σημαντικό μειονέκτημα τους είναι η ευαισθησία τους σε επιθέσεις οι οποίες τις «ακρωτηριάζουν» από σημαντικά μέλη απαραίτητα για τη σωστή πλεύση τους αν και συνήθως αυτό είναι αμελητέο αφού συνήθως διατίθενται σε συσκευασίες πολλές τεμαχίων. Όσο αφορά τα χρώματα εδώ γίνεται ένας χαμός καθώς έχω πάρει ψάρι με κάθε λογής απόχρωση, παρόλα αυτά θα έλεγα ότι το ασημί, μαύρο (1), ροζ και μπλε είναι οι κυριότερες επιλογές για κάθε τύπο σιλικόνης ενώ η παρατήρηση των μικρόψαρων του τόπου και η χρήση κάποιου ανάλογου χρώματος είναι η κάλλιστη επιλογή. Για τα πλανάκια τα πράγματα λίγο πολύ τα έχουμε ξαναπεί κατά τη γνώμη μου αυτά με βάρος από 3 έως 7 γραμμάρια είναι ότι πρέπει με τη διαφορά στο ψάρεμα τους με light rock fishing να έγκειται στους χρόνους βύθισης τους οι οποίοι καλό θα ήταν να είναι μεγαλύτεροι ώστε να δίνουμε στα ψάρια τον απαραίτητο χρόνο επίθεσης. Σημαντικό είναι να διέπονται από σχήμα τέτοιο το οποίο να τους προσδίδει καλή αεροδυναμική, υδροδυναμική καθώς και ευκολία χρήσης χωρίς να «γονατίζουν» το καλάμι μας.
Ως προς το αρμάτωμα θα έλεγα ότι ένα ή δυο ποιοτικά assist hook είναι ότι πρέπει αποβάλλοντας τη σαλαγκιά, αν και αυτό είναι στη κρίση του καθενός. Ως προς τα χρώματα θα έλεγα ότι αυτά που έχουν σαν σημείο αναφοράς τα πράσινο και το μπλέ είναι πολύ καλές επιλογές. Όπως και να ‘χει το light rock fishing είναι μια τεχνική η οποία είναι πολύ διασκεδαστική ιδιαίτερα αυτή την εποχή. Δεν μου έχει δώσει τα μεγαλύτερα ψάρια αλλά σίγουρα μου έχει δώσει τα πιο όμορφα ψάρια και αξίζει να της δώσετε το χρόνο που της αξίζει
