Χαζεύοντας μία ημέρα στο διαδίκτυο έπεσα πάνω σε μία αφίσα για ένα σεμινάριο στις 4-6 Σεπτεμβρίου στην Χαλκίδα από την Ένωση τοξοκυνηγών Ελλάδας. Ομολογώ ότι δεν ήξερα για την ύπαρξη της συγκεκριμένης ένωσης, ούτε ότι υπάρχουν σήμερα στην Ελλάδα κυνηγοί με τόξο γι’ αυτό και θεώρησα αναγκαίο να επικοινωνήσω μαζί τους και να αναδείξω την συγκεκριμένη πρωτοβουλία. Ο εκπαιδευτής Κώστας Παπαδόπουλος μας δίνει μια πρώτη γεύση από το εγχείρημα και σίγουρα θα ακολουθήσουν και άλλες.

- Ξεκινώντας, πότε και τι σας ώθησε να δημιουργήσετε την ένωση τοξοκυνηγών;
Η Ένωση Τοξοκυνηγών Ελλάδος δημιουργήθηκε από την ανάγκη έκφρασης μεγάλης μερίδας της κυνηγετικής κοινωνίας αλλά και της αθλητικής τοξοβολίας. Δυστυχώς στη χώρα μας κυρίως λόγω άγνοιας η αρχέγονη και ηθική αυτή μέθοδος θήρας παραγκωνίστηκε. Ήταν επιτακτική ανάγκη πλέον η ίδρυση ενός φορέα, εδώ και μια δεκαετία γινόταν προσπάθειες, οι οποίες καρποφόρησαν την περασμένη άνοιξη.
- Ποιο είναι το διοικητικό συμβούλιο της ένωσης;
Παπαδόπουλος Κώστας πρόεδρος ,Καλαδάμης Γιώργος αντιπρόεδρος Ντιάνα- Ελισάβετ Τσόντου Γενικός Γραμματέας. Παράλληλα καθήκοντα πιστοποιημένου εκπαιδευτή εκτελώ εγώ (Παπαδόπουλος Κωνσταντίνος). Τεχνικού διευθυντή (με την ιδιότητα του προπονητή τοξοβολίας ) ο Γιώργος Καλαδάμης. Σύμβουλος ασφαλείας και πρώτων βοηθειών μέλος της Ένωσης Χατζηδαμιανός Βασίλειος.
- Πότε και πώς ξεκινήσατε προσωπικά το κυνήγι με τόξο;
Προέρχομαι από κυνηγετική οικογένεια, έχω γαλουχηθεί και μεγαλώσει με τις αξίες του κυνηγιού. Η πρώτη μου επαφή με το κυνήγι με τόξο ήταν πριν 20 χρόνια.
- Σε ποιες χώρες επιτρέπεται το συγκεκριμένο κυνήγι;
Στις περισσότερες χώρες τις Ευρώπης μεταξύ αυτών και τις Βαλκανικές. Ιδιαίτερη αίσθηση προκαλεί το γεγονός ότι οι Σκανδιναβικές χώρες που έχουν ιδιαίτερη ευαισθησία και παιδεία σε ζητήματα περιβαλλοντολογικά και οικολογικά επιτρέπουν την μέθοδο θήρας τόξου – βέλους ως μέτρο σωστής διαχείρισης της πανίδας. Επιτρέπεται στις περισσότερες χώρες της Αμερικανικής Ασιατικής και Αφρικανικής Ηπείρου και σε όλη την επικράτεια της Αυστραλίας.
- Μας κάνετε μια σύντομη ιστορική αναφορά για το κυνήγι με τόξο στην Ελλάδα;
Δεν υπάρχουν επίσημες αναφορές. Μέχρι πρόσφατα στις ετήσιες ρυθμιστικές θήρας συμπεριλαμβανόταν ως μέθοδο θήρας (άρθρο 252 μέσα ασκήσεως θήρας). Η νομική κατάσταση χρήζει πολλών ερμηνειών. Ακόμα και αν κάποιοι ρομαντικοί θεωρούσαν ότι κάποτε επιτρεπόταν…. αυτό γινόταν χωρίς κάποια επιμελή εκπαίδευση ή με σαφές νομικό πλαίσιο θήρας.
- Υπάρχει ενδιαφέρον από τους Έλληνες κυνηγούς για το τόξο;
Υπάρχει πάρα πού μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον. Έχουμε προσελκύσει νέους κυνηγούς που σε άλλη περίπτωση δεν θα έρχονταν στο κυνήγι. Υπάρχει όμως κι αυτή η ομάδα των κυνηγών που διαθέτει την εμπειρία του πυροβόλου όπλου και θέλει ως εναλλακτική μέθοδο θήρας το τόξο, λόγω των προκλήσεων που παρουσιάζει.
- Τι συμμετοχή είχε το σεμινάριο; Και πείτε μας δύο λόγια για την πιστοποίηση!
Πιστοποιήθηκαν 12 νέοι τοξοκυνηγοί. Το πρόγραμμα δεν μπορεί να σηκώσει πάνω από 15 άτομα την φορά διότι πολλά κομμάτια της εκπαίδευσης και των εξετάσεων έχουν ατομικό χαρακτήρα. Το επίσημο πρόγραμμα IBEP (INTERNATIONAL BOWHUNTING EDUCATION PROGRAM) είναι το πρόγραμμα που εφαρμόζεται παγκοσμίως, είναι νέο, από το 2011 πρωτοποριακό με τις ακόλουθες θεματικές ενότητες:
1) Εισαγωγή στην τοξοβολία
2) Ασφαλή χρήση της μεθόδου Θήρας τόξου – βέλους
3) Διαχείριση και διατήρηση της άγριας ζωής
4) Μέθοδοι θήρας με τόξο και βέλος
5) Ηθική και υπευθυνότητα καθώς και νομοθεσία περιορισμοί της μεθόδου που αφορά τον εξοπλισμό
6) χρήση πυξίδας χαρτών
7) Σωστή επιλογή και τοποθέτηση της βολής, ιχνηλασία και ανάκτηση θηράματος.
8) Πρώτες βοήθειες (καρδιοαναπνευστική αναζωογόνηση, σταμάτημα αιμορραγίας) διαβίωση – επιβίωση στο φυσικό περιβάλλον.
- Έχετε κάνει ή θα κάνετε και κάποιες ενέργειες για τη νομιμοποίησή του στην χώρα μας;
Ήδη έχουν ξεκινήσει οι προσπάθειες και οι επαφές με αντίστοιχους φορείς με θετικό πρόσημο. Κυρίως γιατί είναι μια φιλοοικολογική μέθοδος θήρας με μικρό ποσοστό κάρπωσης ή οποία μπορεί να γίνει όμως απόλυτα στοχευμένη όσον αφορά την επιλογή του θηράματος.
- Θεωρείται ρεαλιστική μια ενδεχόμενη νομοθεσία που θα περιλαμβάνει και το τόξο;
Ναι και με μεγάλη εφαρμογή και επιτυχία στην Ελλάδα. Ήδη οι Βαλκανικές χώρες και οι χώρες της Μεσογείου με πανομοιότυπα ενδιαιτήματα και άγρα ζωή εφαρμόζουν την μέθοδο θήρας τόξου – βέλους.
- Έχετε προγραμματίσει και άλλα σεμινάρια στο μέλλον;
Ήδη προγραμματίζουμε εκπαιδευτική ημερίδα στην Β. Ελλάδα και στην Κύπρο.
- Πόσο σημαντικό είναι για εσάς να οδηγούμε τα νέα παιδιά κοντά στο κυνήγι και στην φύση;
Δυστυχώς ο μοντέρνος τρόπος ζωής μας έχει απομακρύνει από τον φυσικό τρόπο ζωής που θα έπρεπε να έχουμε υιοθετήσει όλοι κυρίως για τα παιδιά μας. Η φύση αποτελεί το καλύτερο μέρος διαδραστικής εκπαίδευσης, ίασης και ψυχαγωγίας. Νοσούμε διότι πάψαμε να είμαστε θηρευτές και τροφοσυλλέκτες. Όπως το προανέφερα ετοιμάζουμε εκπαιδευτικές ημερίδες στην Β. Ελλάδα και στην Κύπρο, έχουμε εκπονήσει μελέτη με περιβαλλοντολόγους και θηραματολόγους για τον αντίκτυπο της μεθόδου στην ελληνική επικράτεια. Παράλληλα, προωθούνται κοινές δράσεις στο άμεσο μέλλον μέσω της ΚΟΜΑΘ και της ΚΣΕ, μιας και είναι επιτακτική ανάγκη να συμπορευτούμε με της οδηγίες της FACE (Ευρωπαϊκή Ομοσπονδία για την θήρα και την διαχείριση) και τις ντιρεκτίβες του Ευρωπαϊκού κοινοβουλίου, όπου ουσιαστικά μας κατευθύνουν και μας προτρέπουν στην θεσμοθέτηση και νομιμοποίηση της μεθόδου τόξου – βέλους.
